Consults with our nutritionist are not filed with your insurance provider and because your consult is considered self-pay the consult cannot be filed with insurance. We have worked very hard to keep our fees extremely reasonable.
We do, however, file insurance for those patients seen by Lauren for the diagnosis of T2DM that have Medicare as the primary insurance. Also, Medicare requires that you be referred to Lauren by the physician that is managing your diabetes.
The work you do with Lauren can also be paid for using your Health Savings Account or Medical Spending Account funds.
